The United States is in the midst of a heated competition with Russia and China to lead the global nuclear marketplace. An industry the US created is now dominated by our foreign adversaries. But President Biden and Democrats have set the US on the path to reclaim leadership in nuclear energy and counter the influence of our competitors
Below, we highlight recent steps forward for US nuclear manufacturing and deployment. These wins represent a new era for nuclear energy in America. To maintain growing US leadership, we must continue to build on this momentum and pass the Russian uranium ban and the ADVANCE Act to boost the development and deployment of nuclear technologies. With these added steps, the US can reassert its influence in the global nuclear marketplace and reduce emissions here and abroad.
