Third Way and 60+ Allies Tell Congress: Continue Investing in Energy Innovation

Third Way has brought together over 60 stakeholders from across the country, political spectrum, and technological landscape to send a letter to Congressional leaders advocating for continued investments in energy innovation as part of FY24 appropriations. National environmental groups, electric utilities, businesses, unions and many others all agree: investments in energy innovation are investments in our future. As the letter states, “Ambitious annual appropriations can help bridge RDD&D gaps, balance our nation’s clean energy innovation portfolio, and ensure America leads on the invention and production of emerging clean energy technologies that can be deployed both at home and abroad. By continuing to prioritize the innovation and deployment of new clean energy technologies, we can ensure that the US is not just competitive, but a global leader.”
