"At Third Way, we take seriously our role as a leading voice of the center left. We were proud to be early and enthusiastic supporters of President Biden when he ran in 2020, and we have been delighted by how he and the Vice President have run the country. Together, they have compiled an incredible record of success, passing huge, consequential legislation through a narrowly divided, deeply partisan Congress. With laws like the Infrastructure Act, the CHIPS Act, and the Inflation Reduction Act, they have shown that moderate policies can bring big, bold, transformational change. As a result, America has the strongest economy in the world, with more people working than at any time in our history, real wages rising, record business starts, all-time high stock prices, and declining levels of inflation.

"Third Way salutes President Biden for his extraordinary achievements in office and selfless patriotism in stepping aside. And we proudly endorse Kamala Harris for President of the United States.

"The Vice President is precisely the tough, smart leader we need in this moment. As we saw when she was Attorney General and in the Senate, no one is better at marshalling the facts and prosecuting the case against criminals like Donald Trump. She is a fierce champion on vital issues like reproductive freedom and a diligent defender of our democratic rights. And if she carries on the Biden-Harris agenda on immigration, crime, and the economy, we are confident she can mobilize the coalition of base Democrats and swing voters we need to win.
