Elizabeth Herman

Elizabeth Herman is a Development Advisor at Third Way, where she is responsible for cultivating and stewarding relationships with the organization’s individual donors. A political junkie since watching President Obama’s inauguration in the third grade, Elizabeth brings a wealth of experience in Democratic politics, fundraising, and communication. Prior to joining Third Way, Elizabeth worked directly with Members of Congress to develop and execute aggressive fundraising plans at the Frost Group, a premier political fundraising firm.

A native of Boston, Elizabeth has served in communication roles on both a mayoral and a Senate campaign in the state. This work hit close to home and further inspired her passion for ambitious yet actionable policies and politics. She is a proud alumna of Washington & Lee University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and graduated with a B.A. in Politics and European History with a minor in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Throughout college, Elizabeth also volunteered regularly at a local domestic and sexual violence resource center—an experience she credits with further shaping her commitment to advancing Democratic policies.

A lifelong Boston sports fan, outside of work you can find Elizabeth cheering on the Patriots, curled up with a good book, or trying out new recipes.
