Jennifer Goforth serves as Third Way’s Senior Director of Individual Giving. She has worked in philanthropy and external affairs for more than 25 years at a variety of nonprofits, including Johns Hopkins Medicine, The Brookings Institution, the Seattle Symphony, and the Peterson Institute for International Economics. Jennifer’s early work experience was on Capitol Hill, where she intended to stay as a staffer forever, but an election loss led to a career in fundraising instead. She is energized by Third Way’s mission and is excited to bring her deep experience in campaign management and major donor cultivation and solicitation.

Combining the best of Harvard’s Department of Government and Yale’s Department of Political Science, Jennifer’s degree is in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park. An avid sports fan, Jennifer roots for the Caps, Orioles and Nats, and her beloved Terrapins and Seattle Seahawks. In her free time, she loves to hear live music, play tennis, and spend time with her family and friends, especially her two teenage daughters.
