Rachel grew up in South Florida, where she read a lot of books, watched too much television, and wrote a bunch of emo poetry. As she made her way through high school and college, she knew she wanted to translate her passion for creative writing into politics.

At Third Way, Rachel works with all our departments to communicate with a top-tier audience of policy staff and political influencers. She helps run Third Way’s social media accounts, proof statements and press releases, and manages back-end user interface for the organization. She is dedicated to implementing smart, effective strategies that advance progressive causes across the country.

A proud public school and community college graduate, Rachel received her bachelor’s degree in English and political science from the University of Florida. She earned a master’s degree in media and strategic communications from the George Washington University. And against all odds, Rachel recently learned basic HTML and even designed her own website from the ground up.

Outside of work, you can find Rachel biking around Petworth, attending poetry readings, tending to her garden, and drinking over-priced coffee around the city.
