National Online Survey of College Students - Education Attitudes

Unlike many of our global competitors, the United States fails to systematically attract and retain top-performing teachers. In order to better understand how Millennials view the teaching profession and the qualities they expect to find in their careers, we worked with Benenson Strategy Group to conduct a poll of high-achieving undergraduate students. We look at these students’ perception of education majors and teachers, as well as their future career considerations.
Online interviews conducted by Benenson Strategy Group for Third Way of 400 non-education major college students with a GPA of 3.3 or greater. Margin of error is +/-4.9. Online survey conducted December 2-9, 2013.
