Moderate Power Project

Moderate Power Project

America has entered an era of extremism. Both the radical right and far left have multi-million-dollar organizational infrastructures to enhance their influence, but moderates do not, leaving a power gap that elevates radical voices over those of the pragmatic center. Third Way launched the Moderate Power Project (MPP) to correct this imbalance. MPP is a long-term, strategic initiative to build a robust advocacy infrastructure on the center left. Its goal is to serve as a sustainably funded counterweight to the political extremes, eventually housing six complementary programs to amplify moderate views and expand the political and policy power of the vital center: the Moderate Talent Pipeline, Moderate Power Venture Fund, Communications Center, Leadership Platform, Data Hub, and a Grassroots Pilot.
